We wanted to share with you a recent story from Chickasaw Elementary School, one of four schools that the Love Pantry was able to support this year as a result of your donations. Your contributions have

impacted a community.

Paula Bogosian-Boutwell, a certified guidance counselor and teacher, shared this wonderful story of her experience at the Love Pantry in Chickasaw Elementary School.

"I had two sisters come to my office for Love Pantry food," she said. "They had never received food before so I wanted them to help me pick out some of the items they would eat. I opened the cabinet and got out a bag. I said, 'pick out some things you like to eat,' and they tentatively picked out one jar of peanut butter and put it in the bag. I looked at them and said, 'we need jelly to go with that' and I grabbed the jelly.  Then I said, 'we need to fill this bag up.' Their sweet little faces lit up with joy as they realized they were getting an entire bag of food to take home. They excitedly agreed to beans and fruit and other Love Pantry items. "It was such a humbling experience to help this family and these appreciative children," Bogosian-Boutwell said. "Thank you, Love Pantry, for all you to do support our families."
