Special Events

Faith happens every day, not just on Sundays

Throughout the year, we host special events designed to strengthen family bonds and help children and youth grow through service, discipleship, and community connection.

“Spring Kids” Gathering (K-5)

"Spring Kids" is a time for growth and fellowship designed specifically for K-5th graders! Meeting monthly on Sundays, this isn't just a hangout—it’s a vibrant space where we are building more than just memories by fostering discipleship in a relaxed, hands-on environment.

It is designed to help young hearts fill up on the fun of games, snacks, and a deep-rooted Scripture lesson. It’s a monthly "recharge" for children to connect in their faith and discover the joy of sharing God’s love throughout the school year.

Vacation Bible School
(Rising K-4th)

Once a year in June, we embark on a high-energy week of discovery! VBS is the heartbeat of our summer, where we are building more than just memories—we are sparking a lifelong curiosity about God’s Word, fostering deep connections between children of the same age, and impacting the world through serving.

Through immersive storytelling, epic games, engaging crafts, and mind-boggling science, children discover that they are part of a much bigger story. This four-day adventure is capstoned with a Family Serve Day on Friday, where the whole family is invited to put their hearts and hands to work together in the community. It’s a week where heartfelt worship and pure joy help the Gospel come alive for every child.

Warren Willis Summer Camp

Ready to head to the woods and find something more? Our week in June at Warren Willis Camp is a transformative over-night experience where we are building more than just memories under the open sky. In this sacred space away from the distractions of daily life, children and youth have the unique opportunity to lean into God's presence through powerful worship and intentional small-group reflections.

From mastering new outdoor skills to building lifelong friendships, every moment is designed for campers to find a sense of belonging and a deeper understanding of their faith. It’s more than a camp; it’s a community where hearts are renewed and spirits are strengthened through:

  • Spirit-Led Worship: Evening services that resonate deep within the soul.

  • Small Group Discipleship: Safe spaces to ask big questions and grow together.

  • Outdoor Adventure: Connecting with the Creator through creation.

  • Lasting Community: Forming bonds that stay strong long after the bus ride home.

Youth Summer Mission Trip
(Rising 6th-12th)

Growth happens when we step beyond the familiar. This week-long, sleep-away mission is a transformative immersion into service and culture. We aren’t just building memories—we are expanding our perspective on what it means to love our neighbors.

Each day is a purposeful blend of "filling up" through peer worship and "overflowing" through meaningful leadership as our youth take point in helping a community.

By serving alongside their peers in a new environment, our students discover the beauty of a life lived for others. It is a powerful week of learning, leading, and bonding as we see God’s grace at work throughout our neighbors near and far.

Summer Mission Camp
(Rising 3rd-12th)

We believe you are never too young to make a difference! Our one-week daytime Summer Mission Camp takes our rising 3rd-5th graders, and Middle and High School Youth beyond the church walls and into the heart of Central Florida’s non-profit organizations. It’s an intensive week where we are building more than just memories—we are putting our faith into motion.

Each day is a purposeful blend of "filling up" through afternoon reflections and fun, and "overflowing" through hands-on service projects that meet real needs. We help our children become tangible vessels of God’s grace at various locations, like tackling yard work for Poverty Solutions Group and packing bag lunches for Bags of Love to sorting and packing essential food supplies at Second Harvest and leading games and serving meals to families at Give Kids the World.

By stepping into these roles, we strengthen our church-family bonds and community ties, showing our children and youth the true beauty of a life lived for others.

The other three are adults and a boy, all wearing baseball caps and uniforms, smiling outdoors with cars and trees in the background.

Throughout the year, our doors swing wide for seasonal celebrations designed to bring the whole community together! These events are the heartbeat of our outreach—where we are building more than just memories by fostering deep connections and sharing joy with our neighbors. We aren't just hosting events; we are creating a space to nurture strong family bonds and cultivate a vibrant community.

  • We invite you to our annual traditions:

    • Monthly Serve Days: Every month Spring of Life serves the community at various non-profits in Central Florida. Families and Youth are invited to be part of the positive impact on our local community.

    • Spring Fest: A vibrant celebration featuring our community egg hunt, petting zoo, face painting, and high-energy games in March.

    • Pot Lucks: There is always a seat for you at our table. We journey together over shared meals, celebrating our community and the joy of being a church family. Bring a dish to share and enjoy an afternoon of great food and even better company in March and November.

    • Movie Nights on the Lawn: We transform our lawn into an outdoor cinema! Enjoy a free movie under the stars with delicious food available for purchase in February, July, and November.

    • Game Night: Bring your favorite game or discover a new one! We journey together as a church family, sharing a meal and an evening of play. It’s a perfect space to build friendships and simply enjoy being together in September.

    • Trunk or Treat: A safe and festive Halloween alternative featuring creatively decorated trunks, candy, face painting, and even pop-up putt-putt golf in October.

    • Gingerbread Bash: A "sweet" Christmas tradition where families play games and build gingerbread nativities while reflecting on the beautiful story of Jesus' birth in December.

Whether we are celebrating a holiday or enjoying a movie under the stars, these events are the perfect way to "fill up" on community spirit. Attendance and activities are always free and open to all—we can’t wait to see you on the lawn!
