  • Rev Mike Luzinski

    LEAD PASTOR

    Rev. Mike Luzinski serves as the Lead Pastor of Spring of Life United Methodist Church. He is honored to serve the church and the Lake Nona community. Prior to moving to Lake Nona in June of 2021 he served as a pastor at Asbury United Methodist Church in Maitland for five years. He and his wife, Rev. Madeline Luzinski are both ordained United Methodist clergy each graduating with a Master of Divinity from Duke Divinity School. Mike is passionate about equipping people to live out God’s call and relationship building that fosters deep community. Pastor Mike would love to meet you and learn how God is at work in your life.

  • Margo Cook

    EARLY LEARNING CENTER DIRECTOR

    Margo Cook is our ELC director. Her and her husband have lived in Orlando for 27 years. The Cooks have two adult children, Emily and Clay. Margo has more than 20 years experience in the education field.

    In addition to her Bachelors degree in Science Education from Florida State University, she has her National CDA certification and her Florida Director's credential. In her spare time Margo likes to ride her horses and go to the beach and camp.

  • Mitchell Samuelson

    WORSHIP DIRECTOR

    A native of Orlando. Florida, Mitchell was raised with a love of music in the United Methodist Church. He has studied piano and voice since the age of 7 through the support of both his mother and father, both musicians themselves. Mitchell graduated magna cum laude from Rollins College in 2018 with a bachelors degree in piano performance and has been serving as a church musician since 2014. He is a passionate Orlando Magic fan and enjoys spending time in his at-home recording studio.

  • Betsy LeFils

    CHILDREN’S MINISTRY CO-DIRECTOR

    Betsy has her Bachelor’s Degree in Child and Family Development and has her national CDA. She has been a teacher at Spring of Life Early Learning Center for the past five years. She also has been an active member of Spring of Life UMC where she is a volunteer and Sunday School teacher. She has a passion for teaching and caring for children. She looks forward to growing the Children’s Ministry program through fun and interactive lessons, activities, and events.

    Betsy has been married to her husband for 12 years, and they have two school age children. She has lived in the Lake Nona community for 12 years as well, and looks forward to having the Children’s ministry thrive in this growing community. Betsy LeFils along with Christa Olson look forward to connecting and building relationships with the Spring of Life community as well as the neighboring Lake Nona community.

  • Christa Olson

    CHILDREN’S MINISTRY CO-DIRECTOR

    Christa has worked in the United Methodist Church throughout her adult life, before and after earning her Doctoral degree in Sociology from the University of Central Florida. Her life-long desire to learn and teach in creative ways extends throughout her life-work; as a missionary to South Florida, a Professor in Central Florida and a Sunday School Teacher at Spring of Life. Christa is excited to share her knowledge with and learn more from the children, youth and adults, through hands-on experiences from group games to mission and service work.

    Christa and her spouse, Daniel, and their two daughters are thankful for the community of Spring of Life UMC. Christa looks forward to meeting you and hopes you will join her and Betsy LeFils in reaching all people, in creative ways, in and out of the Church building.

  • Alex Killian

    YOUTH MINISTRY DIRECTOR

    Alex is a Co-Founder of Anchor & Vine Global Outreach and serves as the Director of Global Programs providing relief and ministry to areas such as Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, and the Florida Keys. Alex oversees all program development in addition to planning for future outreach. He is excited to start his new journey here at Spring of Life United Methodist Church and continue to share his love for Christ with our youth and families. Alex has over twelve years of experience in Youth & Family Programs, six of which includes working with non-profit organizations working with Middle and High school youth. Alex also brings valuable fundraising experience to the table and has partnered with numerous organizations to fund, develop, and build family-oriented programs. Alex graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Human Services. Alex enjoys cooking/eating great food, traveling, board games, and spending time with friends and family. Alex is originally from Northern Indiana but is currently enjoying life in Orlando, FL.

  • Michelle Blanco

    DISCIPLESHIP MINISTRIES DIRECTOR

    Michelle Blanco has served as a missionary overseas and domestically for over a decade and is respected within the field for her ability to bridge theology, culture, and race. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Central Florida and is pursuing a Master of Divinity in Candler School of Theology. As a movie enthusiast, Michelle weaves familiar themes into her presentations, which help her audience connect to her message. Michelle is originally from Puerto Rico and resides in Florida with her husband and two children.

  • Denise Fuller

    CHURCH ADMINISTRATOR

    Denise, her husband and two children have been a Spring of Life Church members for over 16 years. She has industry experience in marketing, business analysis, project management, process management, and account management. She has faithfully served Spring of Life in a variety of roles within our church and Early Learning Center ministries.
